Donations Information

Support ADI Flamingo

ADI Flamingo is a volunteer-led nonprofit funded entirely by the generosity of our community. Every donation — large or small — goes directly toward the infrastructure improvements, environmental protection, and safety initiatives that make Playa Flamingo a better place to live, work, and visit.

Unlike many organizations, ADI Flamingo has no paid staff. Our Board of Directors and committee members give their time, expertise, and energy because they believe in this community. Your financial support is what allows that dedication to translate into real, tangible results — from road improvements and water system upgrades to beach cleanups and wildlife protection. Every colón and every dollar counts, and your contribution is more than a donation. It is an investment in the future of Flamingo.

How We Are Funded:

Donations & Sponsorships: Community members, local businesses, and partner organizations provide the core of our funding through direct contributions and sponsorships.

Events & Grants: Fundraising events throughout the year, along with government resources and international funds, help us pursue larger infrastructure and conservation projects.

How to Donate:

In Costa Rica: Donations qualify as tax-deductible under Costa Rica’s Income Tax Law No. 7092. Local bank transfer available upon request.

From the US: Tax-deductible contributions can be made through the Marina Flamingo Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 organization.
